Which rules will the bot follow?

Turn a defined trading strategy into a testable configuration with explicit execution limits.

Configuring strategy rules in a software workspace

From strategy rules to a working configuration

We translate your documented entry, exit and sizing rules into a configured automation workflow, connect supported broker interfaces and prepare a dashboard for reviewing activity. The work typically uses a rules engine, historical market data and broker APIs; scope and connection availability determine the exact setup. A standard configuration usually takes two to four weeks after we receive complete rules and access details. At handover, you receive the configuration record, test notes, operating instructions and a walkthrough of the controls.

The work behind each part of the setup

Strategy and tests

We document the signals, order conditions and data assumptions you provide, then run historical tests against available data. The report identifies the period tested, relevant settings and notable gaps. You decide whether the strategy is suitable for further use; a historical result is not a prediction of live trading.

Limits and connection

We configure agreed position limits and pause conditions, then test the connection to a supported broker interface. Available order types and responses depend on the broker. We record those dependencies so you can distinguish a software setting from behaviour controlled by the external trading venue.

Monitoring and handover

We arrange a dashboard showing connection status, orders and triggered controls, then walk you through routine checks. You receive operating notes and a record of the settings at handover. Ongoing review remains necessary when market conditions, broker interfaces or your strategy change.

When this service is a poor fit

This work makes sense when you can describe a strategy as specific rules and are willing to review its operation. It is not a strategy recommendation, account-management service or substitute for understanding the instruments you trade. If your rules depend mainly on discretionary judgement, the automation may not express them faithfully. Broker support also varies: we assess the proposed connection before agreeing on scope, and we will say when an integration or order type is unavailable.
